So that progress I blogged about last was short lived. Looking at my immediate schedule, I think whatever I do next in the restoration process will be after Christmas. I'll try to get some pics up on the demolition between now and then.

Finally, Progress
My wife went to see her cousin in a musical the other night and with my parents watching the boy, I took the opportunity to get work on the boat. I got all the seat backs and benches removed. This thing's been in my garage for over a month now, but the wood under the upholstery was still saturated. Most of the hardware was also rusted or too brittle to be saved. Pics (not so many this time) to come.

Getting Started
My goal over the next couple of days is to catalog where every part fits on the Lido with my camera. I'll also have pictures to post to show where I started. Also need to clean up my workspace so I have room to move around once I get started.

Billau's Boat
On Saturday, October 10th, 2009 I purchased a Glasspar Sport Lido. I believe it is a 1959. I say that because there is an emblem on the dash that says "Evinrude Golden Jubilee". It's got an Evinrude Lark 35 motor. Pictures and restoration details/questions to come.
